During these days, I received quite a lot of people sending mails to me for seasonal greetings. I observed that almost every one wrote “Merry X’mas and Happy New Year”.

When I saw these mails, I felt very uncomfortable that Christ is being substituted by the word of “x” and I sent a reply to those Christian colleagues that it is better to write Christmas instead of x for abbreviation.

Today, I got a reply that explained that Christian could write X’mas because X means Christ died on the CROSS. And it is not a shorthand ~~

Actually, I didn’t think of that reason and it stirred up my mind to think of that question today..full of question marks in my head…Or I should say I am not very convinced by the explanation..

If the one who writes is really for that reason, yes, it maybe true..But when I think deeply, how many people are writing it for quickness only?

I have no absolute answer for that question yet…@_@”

It was an exciting night last Friday, I, as a recreation club committee in my company has arranged a cooking class in China Light and Power @ TST.

It was a Mango Grapefruit Moussecake 楊枝甘露凍餅 making class, and there were totally 20 colleagues participated in the class.

With nice environment, good equipment and clear teacher instruction, we (almost none of us have experience on cake making) have finally made one individually! Everything started from zero, from filtering the flour, flapping the mixture, bake cake…

I took the cake home and let it keep at refrigerator for a whole night, which the teacher said the cake will be even more delicious.

Next day, our family shared the cake, all said “yummy”, wahahaha~

Let me buy some equipment, like egg stirrer, the scale and make one again at home. If it’s successful, I hope I could share it for big potato fellowship~

June 22-24: One of my teammates was asked to go to Singapore for business issue, we take this opportunity to go to Singapore for sightseeing and visit him as well. This is my first time to Singapore ~ ^0^

Jul 1: My very best friend - Heidi, is going to get married on Jul 1. Congratulation! She is my secondary school classmate and she brought me to church =) On her wedding day, I will be one of her bridemates. Looking forward to her big day.

H appy fellowship timing though a bit tired ^.^ Thanks for the Bible and Hymns sharing, thanks for brothers and sisters encouragement when my legs were fatigue.

I tchy…Rashes appeard throughout my body, I couldn’t sleep well last night. I don’t know whether it’s from the insects or other thing which caused allergy. Colleague gave me a pill today to sooth itchy feeling.

K eep walking by faith. I think of Heb 11:1 during the tough moment, it encourages me.

E xercise…I think I have fulfilled my full year exercise target. Yeah !

Longing for hot pot for some time, finally I had a hot pot dinner tonight ^0^

Quite a bad habit, I like drinking the soup in the hot pot; and I like drinking soup in any Western or Chinese resturants. However, the result is I got thirsty and thirsty, my tongue became dry…Suddenly I recall my Mami’s soup, it is always the best soup in the world. Prepare with heart, no MSG; truly moisten my body and heart in which those outside soup could not give.

Suddenly I shift to think…attractiveness from the world outside will sometimes hook us to addict to it, but we could only get peace and joy from Christ. That’s already enough.

Today was my first day serving in children Sunday service, thanks Lord for the peaceful time.

Actually, during the past Sunday service days, I never thought what was happening in the next door, I never thought that I will go into that room for teaching purpose…

Today, I stepped into the room, facing the kids, started to memorize their names one by one. Prayed to the Lord to give me strength, wisdom and courage ^.^

It was a study week for the kids, so Mrs Shum and I started to ask them questions. To my surprise, they knew a lot about Bible. They raised their hands answering easy to difficult questions; I really didn’t expect that kids could memorize the Bible so well. It was so amazing, I see God’s love and grace.

May the children continuously to grow in Him. So do I. ^.^

Finally, I’ve made my wardrobe tidied up…

It has been a plan 2 years ago, however, I was too lazy to do so…

Yesterday night, I’ve made up my mind and started to put it into action. (Because it was too messy, can’t stand anymore…) Skirts are too short, pants are too big (don’t know why I got a 28″ pants…)

After 4 hours, 3 bags of clothes were sort out. I was tired, but I am glad that all inappropriate clothes were thrown away.

This is one of the 2007 Key projects. Task clear !

Last night, I and four best friends went to Causeway Bay having a fruitful dinner. Chicken was super delicious, fish was fresh, yummy yummy.

We haven’t met and chit chat for a long time, finally we made it. I really missed the moment we were together in the past but we always have busy schedule.

One of my friends’s sister just has a new born baby, congratulation ! So cute !!! Thanks God that both mami and baby are healthy.

Baby is always the best gift from God to the parents. ^.^ It is so amazing.

Music plays an important role in a song and always gain the upper hand; as if the importance of tone and manner in a conversation.

It may develop or destroy others…

To me, this new year is so NEW to me. So many things to think of..

My feeling was so complicated this year…hard to tell…suddenly feel so heavy…heavy…

Oh Lord, I eager to seek wise from you. Man is really so weak and cannot solve problem by their own wisdom.

Lord I need you.

Back from Dubai la !!! A nice place with beautiful scene !!

Dubai means the following to me…

D -    Desert (experienced an exciting Land Cruiser riding ~)

U -    UAE (Dubai came together with Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah and (in 1972) Ras Al Khaimah to create the federation of the United Arab Emirates.
B -    Burj Al Arab Hotel (Landmark in Dubai, most luxurious hotel 帆船酒店)

A -    Arabic (Their official language, English is widely understood)

         Alcohol is not permitted to serve in restaurants outside the hotels.

I -    Infrequent and irregular rainfall (Falling mainly in winter)

2006 was a blessed year ~

Reviewed 2006, I found the most critical thing was that God led me to a new workplace in Feb. (less travelling time, shorter working hour)

Hence, more regular time to read bible, attend Wed prayer meeting, take Christology lesson., practice piano which is full of blessings ~

數數手指, 我已經畢業了4 年。 再回到中大, 憶起不少從前上學的片段。人大了, 記性真的不太好, 很多建築物的名稱幾乎忘記。 什麼李慧珍樓, 馮景希樓, MMW, 開始變得陌生…

從返二宿, 看到瓊姐, 她還是和7 年前一樣。 7 年.. 原來時間真的流逝得這麼快.. @o@ 

真的, 趁著今天還活著, 要好好的事奉神; 時刻數算主恩。

鋼琴 .. .. 我今天又苦待了你 .. 我還是溫柔不足…大抵這與自己的性格一致吧 .. -_-” 

要將唱歌時的「如歌的」 運用在彈琴上 .. .. 嗯..我知道了, 雖然我還未能完全掌握 , 我會努力的 !
